Well everyone, here is my first post on our new blog.  I’m looking forward to writing often and updating you on what is happening with the new venue.  Here is the latest.  We are going to have our first public service on Easter March 23rd at Madras Middle School.  The plan is to have 2 preview services the two weeks before to help us make sure we are ready for our launch.  Now if you are reading this and you are just checking us out I would recommend you wait till the 23rd to attend.  Those of you on our launch team March 9th and 16th will be full out practice services so prepare for you to have your first service at Madras on March 9th.  (the day after my little guy turns 2). 

We are now in 2008 and crunch time for us has begun.  It’s 65 days till our first preview service.  I can easily remember when that number was over 300.  We have an all star team of people ready to go and serve the people of the Madras / Happy Valley area.  I’m so looking forward to serving with all of you on a daily basis.  God has done some amazing things already with this venue and we haven’t even officially started yet.  I can’t wait to see what’s next.  Thanks for going with us.
