It’s not about me.

I just finished talking with a person who attends the Madras campus.  This person not only attends but him and his wife have never missed a Sunday since we started. (19 weeks including preview services)  The amazing part is they not only attend but come early, help set up, stay through both services and help tear down.  They have never once complained or slowed down.  Now the really amazing part of the story is there are many couples and families that have done this every week.  They have given up as much as 7 hours each Sunday to serve the church by serving others.

As you come to our campus and see the work that happens each Sunday please thank them.  I know they don’t do it to be thanked, they do it for a love, a love for people like Christ loves people.  They do it because they know it’s so much better being with God than away from God.  They do it for the 60,000.  They do it for others.

Thank you to so many at Madras and Sharpsburg that have realized “it’s not all about me.”  Thank you for being willing for God to use you. These baptisms tomorrow and the crowds of people are just the beginning of what God wants to do in this area.
