Bill Babblings #23

Few notes from this week at Madras.

  • Mouthwash – We started off with a bang(remember “son of a biscuit bullfrog”) and ending with a challenge. (share a blessing with someone else with words)  What a great series.
  • Did you tell anyone what you appreciate about them?  Not for what they do but for who they are.  If so comment here or email me and let me know how it went.  (I did a little of it last night and it was a big awkward but good)
  • Many people did not let the rain keep them from attending.  Great job.
  • The people at Faith Creek Methodist on Hwy 29 are awesome people.
  • Jeremy Hooker was flat out awesome behind the scenes yesterday.
  • Speaking of awesome, how bout John and Nathan singing  “Say” by John Mayer.  Wow, the song never left my head and last night I watched The Bucket List and thought of our service throughout, particularly at the end when “Say” came on.
  • 3 really good discussion with Madras attenders this past week.  I really love getting to know you all better each week.
  • Small groups are up and running.  In one?  Get in one, it can change your life.
  • We still need help in every area at the campus.  Can you help us?  Email me.
  • Looking forward to “You asked for it” this Sunday.  Don’t forget to go to our site and vote.
  • What no Olympics to watch tonight?
  • Are you 12-18?  Are you a parent of a 12-18yr old?  Or just a fan of the Olympics?  Click here  Turkeys (or chickens) are coming!
  • If you never got a chance to watch Steven Curtis Chapman’s family being interviewed on Larry King Live not long after the accidental tragic death of their daughter.  Here it is.  This interview is an amazing example of love for family and faith in God.
  • Don’t miss Vision Sunday on Sept 7th.
