Spot the cow

Can you spot the cow?  That was the question posted to me last week as I took my 2 oldest kids (Dylan 7 & Sarah Beth 6) on a Chick-fil-A scavenger hunt across the county.  This is a 1 week game that a Chick-fil-A (Thomas Crossroads) near me put on.  The game was go to 10 different preassigned places of business and find the little 6 inch cow somewhere in their store.  On Black Friday at 3pm in the rain we set out to play the game.  The game took us about 2 hours and we had so much fun.  We were getting out of the house so my amazing wife and our other 2 kids could nap after she served Thanksgiving to nearly all of Georgia.  (ok small exaggeration).  Anyway we found all the cows and filled out our cards.  Once the cards were filled out they gave you a free meal.  So then Saturday night my entire family ate chicken and played .  It was great.  But what I didn’t realize was it had only just begun.

After turning in my card Saturday, I pretty much forgot about it.  Well, on Monday I got the call.  Chick-fil-A corporate called and said I was the grand prize winner of the contest.  Not only did we get the free meals on Saturday but now I won 1 free sandwich per week for 6 months!!!  Now that rocks.  Nothing is better than Chick-fil-A.  I also won a 4 foot Chick-fil-A cow.  Which all my kids love.  Here are a few pictures of Will with the cow.  He is just barely bigger than the cow.

Christmas has come early to the Coffman house.  Thank you Chick-fil-A.

If you visit the Thomas Crossroads Chick-fil-A, check out the bulletin board with my name on it by the side doors.  It’s my 30 seconds of fame.

  1. Congrats!!!

  2. Congrats on the 30 seconds of fame. I expect some Chick-fil-a when i get back.
